How do the members regain control.

What happens if ARA leadership continues to replicate itself without new ideas or directions?  

Nothing! 

New Members will replace those who became disillusioned or left because the American Rental Association's services they need are no longer provided.  

How can the members enact change?  

Leadership is not going to approach you; you need to approach them. HOW? Talk to leadership at the Rental Show regional event. The Rental Show is where small independents can't be distinguished from the association's elite. At the Rental Show, you can tell leaders and suppliers how they have been disappointed in the past year.  

Talking points.  

Mr Conant's lack of experience in member-owned organizations. $700,000.00 is too much money for on-the-job training.  

The need to rebuild grassroots and revitalize state and local associations.  

Stop segregating and labeling members. All members should be treated equally. 

Term limits!!! 

Ask leadership to open the leadership conference to all interested members and limit attendance to two years.   

Ask Mr. Pederson, Mr. Conant, and Mr. Richardson to explain their decision to ignore members with whom they disagree. 

Ask Mr. Pederson, Mr. Conant, Mr. Showalter, and Mr. Richardson why they support the Staff's personal attacks on social media. 

I have a lot of Ideas. I have attended over 40 rental shows and countless local and regional events; however, to Pederson, Conant, and Richardson, I belong to what they label the "Great Unwashed" of the rental industry.  I am proud of the 60 years that I have served my industry and community. 

Being asked to serve on the ARA of Pennsylvania board was one of the proudest moments in my life.  

What Pederson, Conant, and Richardson have done to the American Rental Association sickens me.
